A single-origin Robusta, full-bodied and intense, with an enveloping bitterness.

The Indonesia AP1 single-origin is a high-quality, fine Robusta, with a unique bean appearance!

Grown between 850 and 950 mt asl in the Lampung region, Panjang district of Indonesia.

In addition to having a nearly perfect bean of gigantic size, it is also the first Robusta coffee washed at Ernani. This process creates a clean and pleasant aromatic profile, maintaining a good bitterness and the typical creaminess of Robusta coffees, completely eliminating the aromatic defects often present in this botanical variety.

On the nose: the aroma is intense and features notes of chocolate.
On the palate: it is a coffee with distinct notes of bitter cocoa and spices; while acidity and sweetness are absent.

Ernani's tip: for espresso, use a dose of 7.5 gr per serving.

Thanks to the medium roast, the carefully selected raw coffee beans can express themselves to their fullest, releasing all their natural aromas without ever being overly bitter. Try it without sugar, it's incredible!

The coffee is stored inside a sealed bag, self-protected with a one-way valve, which allows the coffee to degas, preventing oxygen from entering, which would otherwise oxidize it. This keeps the coffee beans fresh and aromatic even after several months.
